little kam gave us a big surprise today and stood on her own! and decided to take a few first steps while she was at it too!!!! she turned 10 months and 3 days today. and the best part is that shane, kolie, and i got to see it all together. it was so exciting! and kolie just thaught it was the funniest thing she ever saw. what a great day(:

for the 4th of july we spent the day swimming at mimi and papa's and then did fireworks with josh, andrea, maddi, and cait. kam was tired from all the swimming and went to sleep before it got dark enough and missed out on all the fun):

we have really been busy this summer with parties, swimming, and pretty much more swimming. but have been having a ton of fun! these are some pics from the last few weeks.

this was kam's first big booboo. she was in her little walker and kolie was trying to play with her. kolie put her weight on one side and accidently tipped it over. she was completely upside down in it!!!!! i totally freaked out! but she is a tough little stinker. she got a huge fat lip from it, but it didn't seem to bother her for long. poor little kam kam):

we have definitely been spending alot of time in the pool this summer. i can't believe how awesome little kolie has been with her swimming! she won't let you touch her while she swims around. she jumps in and makes sure that her head goes under, and she also swims holding her breath under water with her eyes open. we are so proud of our little polar bear(: that's what she says she swims like, a polar bear.

so kameron is finally crawling at 9 months. she is so much fun now, just scootin around from toy to toy. and it is so cute to watch kolie be such a great big sister to her. she really loves little kam so much! as we all do(: although kameron takes more after shane, and kolie takes more after me, they are really looking alike too. it is too much fun watching them grow together.

and in pretty much the same day she pulled up on her toy by herself!

we are so excited it's finally summer!! between mimi's pool, papa tom's pool, nana's and our neighborhood pools. we will be swimming it up this year. this was the girls before their first swim of the year.

aunt b, presly, and cru came to stay with us for the night. it was so much fun! of course kolie and presly ran around the house like a bunch of wild indians, while kameron and cru are starting to interact a little more. cru isn't walking yet, but getting close. he definitely finds a way to get where he wants. and kameron at 8 months is still trying to crawl. this was such a fun weekend(:

this is hilarious!! kolie has been potty trained for quit some time now, so we trust her pretty well while she is in the restroom. she had been in there for awhile when we decided it was time to check on her. she had lined the potty completely on her own! and i am ashamed to say i have never done this for her, so i have no idea where she learned it from. shane and i were cracking up! it was so perfectly done!

daddy saved a baby turtle in the middle of the road. don't ask me how he managed to see this little thing while he was driving. of course we took it in as our new family member. we asked kolie what it's name was, and she named it wonder pet. how cute!

this was my 3rd mothers day!! and my first with sweet kam(: my favorite day of the year.

i love this little face!! since kameron has been such a professional sitter now, she has been able to play with some new toys. she loves this one! she is almost 7 months now. and she cut her first two teeth about a week ago. poor little thing, they came in at the exact same time.

don't worry i did clean this little mirror right after this picture. between dogs and kids, mirrors this low to the ground don't stay very clear(:

kameron hasn't started crawling yet, but i think she is getting close. she finally started sitting a few weeks ago. both kolie and kam took a little while i think due to their tall, skinny little bodies! its hard for them to get some balance. and i swear kameron has other pajamas! for some reason she always has these on in the pics.

so kameron is about 5 1/2 months now and showing a much happier side. those of you that know her well, know that she has been battling stomach issues that have until now been keeping her on the fussier side. she has had acid reflux since the day she was born, but since kam's been able to eat baby food now, it has made such a huge difference for her(: she loves life now! we are so happy to see her smiling all the time! and we are so happy to be able to get out of the house more often!!!! this was me getting ready to take the girls for a little walk. we don't have a double stroller yet, so i have to attach kam to me so that i can push kolie. it was such a workout!

since i really dont get out much right now, any type of workout i do is usually something at home. which really only consists of sit-ups. and kolie just loves to do them with me. she is my little accountability partner(:

this is kolie's favorite snack right now. and a good bath is always necessary afterwards(:

this cracks me up. atleast once a day kolie gets whatever stuffed animals she is playing with that day and lines them up on the fireplace. its so cute because she will sit there forever changing the order in which they are sitting and it has to be just right for her.

kolie is growing up so fast it makes me so sad. but it is so fun right now because she says and does some of the funniest things! after everything she needs or wants right now she has to add the words "a minute" to the end of her sentences. for example, "mommy, i need to peepee a minute", or "i want to color a minute."
another fun thing she says is "oh man!"

kameron is finally able to play in this little toy and is having a ball with it. it is so cute just to watch her figure it out.

miss cutiepants rang in the new year with a brand new pair of earrings... along with the piercing to go with): i felt so bad! but its just about 30 seconds of crying followed by beautiful ears forever. hopefully she'll thank me later when all of her friends are too scared to get it done. she is almost 4 months old now.

so it has been in the works for quit some time now and has had some pretty good runs, but now at 31/2 months kameron has finally finished the roll!! really only to find out how the ottoman tastes(: but we are so proud of her. and i must admit this is not her first roll, but it was probably her third. yay for kam!!

the holidays have been so much fun this year. kolie was so excited to see santa! i wasn't for sure how it was going to go, but she was all smiles and couldn't wait to go sit in his lap. when i placed kameron in his arms i told the photographer she was going to have to be fast. she started snapping away and we managed to get a great pic before kam started crying(: they must have been good girls because they definitely raked in the presents this year.

this was us at thanksgiving. kameron is over 2 mths here and really starting to smile(:

just like that, its already christmas. after spending time with shane's mimi, papa, and rest of the cozort fam, we head home to meet my family just in time for santa to come. kolie was so cute this year!! she was so excited when she could here santa in our house as she was lying in bed with nana, my sister, and zack. she asked him for a barbie this year. she got a pink mermaid barbie along with lots of other fun things. kameron got lots of fun things too. her new little chair is hilarious. she looks so funny in it! she likes to sit in it for a little bit, but then her head starts to bobble around and its time to relax again in her bouncer.

christmas morning we always wake up early and head over to mimi and papa's house to give and open more presents. then we go straight from here to grandma gail's house for the best breakfast ever.

the last 2 years have been so much fun watching kolie grow. it went by way too fast! it was time to let our family grow a little more so that she could be close to her new best friend(: into our lives came our sweet little kameron.
